Are you a singer looking for a choir? Are you a director seeking a collaborative pianist? Perhaps you are searching to deepen your skills and knowledge with a private instructor. Maine is vast, but our music community is strong and tight-knit. Use the resources below either to promote what you can offer our choral community or find just what you are looking for.
Note: Maine ACDA provides these resources as a service to the choral community. All resources shared are populated by submission, and do not necessarily indicate endorsement from Maine ACDA as an organization.
Community Choirs
Community, Lifelong, Youth, and Professional choirs are crucial to the health of a choral community. They provide opportunities for community development, promoting health throughout all stages of life, and fostering vocal and social development in younger singers. The choirs we feature are both auditioned and non-auditioned, and cover a range of ages, so everyone can find their musical home in Maine.

Worship Choirs
Worship choirs form some of the longest-standing choral traditions in our country and world. We believe in finding a choral home for every singer, inclusive of all spiritual paths and religious beliefs. Our hope is to have this resource serve the needs of all types of faith community, with all types of singing opportunities. Please add vocal opportunities for your place of worship to help us in this mission!

Collaborative Pianists & Organists
Maine has a thriving community of collaborative pianists — our partners in choral music who are highly artistic, talented, and responsive. We choral directors are so grateful for their work and collaboration and are delighted to help connect choirs with collaborative pianists. While many in our organization can vouch for pianists on this list, a reminder that this database is a service and not an endorsement from Maine ACDA. Anyone can submit to this database.

Private Voice Instructors & Studios
Thanks to our beautiful geography of mountains and lakes, it can be difficult to find a voice teacher in Maine, especially in rural parts. This resource is for parents, music teachers, and individuals seeking to connect with a private voice instructor. The database will inform you where the teacher is, their website, and whether they offer remote lessons. A reminder that this database is a service and not an endorsement from Maine ACDA. Anyone can submit to this database.
